About This Game After awakening from her coffin, Arra recalls little but the last words spoken by her father, “Destroy the Amber Throne.” Looking into the sky, she finds what was once his magnificent castle is now floating in the sky, far above the world below. Arra must find a way to reach the castle before others catch wind of it, lest the powerful Amber Throne fall into the wrong hands. Amber Throne is a traditional JRPG-styled game that focuses on turn-based battling and some light exploration. The game features a large cast of unique monsters that change stances depending on actions taken during combat, and a party with mostly mixed hybrid roles to deal with them. Learning monster behavior and how your skills affect them is essential to reaching victory. Fully painted world with diverse settings and unique characters. Many monsters with multiple stances and behaviors to master. Five party members each with their own skills and advantages. Crafting for the game's best equipment and items. 12-15 hour-long story with optional content and exploration. The game is a bit more atmospheric and ambient than most JRPG-styled games, with emphasis on theme and mood, hopefully making it feel a bit different to experience!ControlsShift to RunArrow Keys to MoveZ / Enter to ConfirmX / Esc For Main Menu Or CancelF5 For FullscreenD+hold For Skipping Dialogue 7aa9394dea Title: The Amber ThroneGenre: Adventure, Casual, Indie, RPGDeveloper:Joshua MissilePublisher:Joshua MissileRelease Date: 6 Jul, 2015 The Amber Throne Torrent Download [Ativador] This game impressed me right away with it's beautiful artstyle and simple but still deep battle system. Two hours in and I'm still as hooked as I was when I started. If you like old Playstation 1 Japanese RPGs then you'll love this. So far it's on par with all of those classics.. It is an allegedly buggy experience, but I only had a single incident (early crash). Other wise, this is a somewhat repetitive, but genuinely enjoyable RPG. The game doesn't hold your hand, so you may end up feeling lost at times. Some may enjoy this aspect of the game, while others may feel directionless. As just about everyone will say, the art and music are rather impressive here (the sound effects not so much), and this is a solid RPG maker accomplishment. Overall, it is about a dollar an hour at full price, and should be worth it for anyone into this type of low-budget, classic-feel RPG. Message with specific questions!. Just finished my playthrough. Worth every penny.. I've played a couple hours and I've read a few other reviews. The first thing I want to say is: YES this game is worth your money. That being said, the reason I love this game is because it takes me back to my youth when I played games like Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and later Xenogears (as well as the Final Fantasy Series of course). The mute main character is hugely nostalgic for me, personally. The soundtrack really enhances the overall vagueness of the setting and the plot. Speaking of which, I've seen some others complain about the lack of direction in an (impressive) open world. I personally love it. The combat is a simplistic "rock-paper-scissors" system but I thoroughly enjoy it so far! I keep catching myself thinking of ways I would have tweaked the combat and the skill system but then I remember that isn't the point of this game. From what I can tell, the point IS the simplicity. I love how casual it is while also providing for interesting encounters. One last note: the turning enemy spawns "on" and "off" with the shrine/pillar things is genius! It's even explained lore-wise!All in all, I love it and I strongly recommend it to anyone seeking an experience similar to the games I mentioned above!. Game has solid combat, nice art and a very interesting, unusual story. I definitely enjoyed my time with it. There are some occasional issues with the auto-save being a bit overzealous, and saving you in some bad spots that might require you to load an older save, so do save frequently.. I don't often do reviews but here goes. The one thing that came to me when I got to fighting and even before that is that if you're a nerd in your early 20's and have been playing games since childhood, you're probably gonna like this. It's incredibly nostalgic, almost as if it's purposely made as an homage to vintage times such as the old 1995 to 1998 or so. It resembles a many great games of that time, graphically enhanced of course, however, the battle style is much like Square Soft's (Square Enix now) classic Chrono Trigger, the setup is very much like the classic Final Fantasy games as well. The musical soundtrack is also a sweet boon.Do I recommend this? Well♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ yes, I do! Immerse, beautiful, nostalgic gameplay at its finest! Even without it being on sale, it's very cheap anyway so unless you're living under your Mothers basement, your funds will probably be fine.. I've got a few RPG maker games floating around, but I'd almost never recommend them. They tend to rely too heavily on pre-packaged tilesets and artwork, which tends to mean that the developer slacks off in other areas, too. The Amber Throne is an exception to this rule. It uses its own custom artwork, from backgrounds to character sprites. Even better, it's GOOD artwork. The backgrounds are painterly, the sprites are well animated and proportioned. This alone bodes well for the rest of the game, and it does not dissappoint. It's got custom music, which is actually pretty nice, just hinting at mystery and adventure. The story is a little bare-bones from what I played (several hours in), but it felt less like it was skimped on, and more like the story was in the environment and the journey.. Why i vote no, cause free but trial 5 days. Yeah, if u said is free fo Al, NO!!! If u wanna get free dont instaled.. Fantastic, I wish more RPGs would follow in this mold aesthetic mold. I saw it when it first came out on the Steam new releases page, and after scanning the page decided to take a gamble, it paid off! Wonderful soundtrack, great world to explore, a good story (so far), eye popping visual style, this is easily one of the better RPG maker games available. Some of the story moments actually surprised me at how well thought out and executed they are. There are a few complaints, though: the battle systm is interesting but many of the status/elemental effects seem inconsistent (or are very poorly explained). Its not difficult but you honestly just get the impression the game is cheating sometimes because you are never given a detailed description of how the battle mechanics work, stuff just sometimes decides to be super effective or not. A few of the characters also could hae been fleshed out more (why was Nuo in the party again? I completely forgot). All in all this is a breathtaking game to experience and I highly recommend it for those looking for a good JRPG, especially if you are looking for something different. (as of this writing I am 6 hours in according to Steam)
